Great forum - I had VSG and everyone here encouraged me to join in.

I have found this the most welcoming forum to date!  I lurked at first  because I haven't actually had my RNY yet.....but then I was encouraged to start posting, so I did.   I'm still more of a reader/occasional commenter than a super-duper-awesome-poster.....but it's a start

Haha, thanks - nothing odd about it!  I was trying to think of a good screen name one day and my son (who was a toddler at the time) was walking around with one blue sock on, and there you have it!
