I stay between 600-800 calories/day---usually about 700-750
Drink LOTS AND LOTS of liquids
Keep carbs at 20 or below but have gone as high as 40. I am very triggered to eat when I have too many carbs--keeping my carbs as low as possible from day one, I am convinced, is the reason why I have been so successful.
Shoot for 80-100 gms of protein/day--almost alway**** somewhere in the 90's. I still take unjury unflavored protein powder mixed with iced tea twice a day, so that's 40 guaranteed grams.
I don't count fat ever.
Exercise---I don't I've explained in earlier posts that I had a total knee replacement on March 29, 2012 so I was very limited in what I could do. Now I'm cleared for walking, stationary bike, etc. I just HATE exercising. That's really bad--I know :( For some reason, it didn't seem to affect my weight loss but I do NOT reccommend it. I'm just lazy.
It seemed to me that once I got close to a reasonable weight, my body slowed down the loss. I'm losing in ounces now, not pounds. I REALLY try to not cheat at all (I do sometimes). If there's junk in the house that tempts me, I either give it away or throw it away. I started eating protein bars--ended up LOVING them---to me they tasted like a candy bar. Had to get them out of the house. I have a hubby and an 18 year old who are constantly eating junk!!! Drives me crazy!!
So after being incredibly long winded here, I would say increase your liquids and protein (I do see a difference in weight loss the closer I get too 100 gm protein/day), drop your carbs to where you feel comfortable and exercise (do as I say, not as I do LOL).
I hope this was helpful. You can always PM me if I can do anything else to lend support.
Good luck,
Marie
