I'm so sorry you had to go through a divorce, I hope it is actually a positive for you. (If it is, hey, there is another 200 pounds (or so) lost! Woo-hoo!)

Nutshell:

Lost 140 lbs with VSG. (Hooray!!)

got pregnant (yeaaaa!)

got cancer (boooo!)

regained 40 lbs. (grrrr!)

In summary: Alive & Grateful.

Happy birthday and congrats! You are around my same starting stats, so I hope to do as well as you! Im halfway there! You look amazing and are very inspiring. May I ask, did it take you the entire 2.5 yrs to get to 180 or when did you get there?

I lost 73 lbs by 3 mths postop...100 lbs by 5 mths postop...132 lbs lost by 9 mths..and 160 by 18 mths..and then a little here and there...since then.

Hi, congrats on the WL you look awesome. I have a questions and please don't take offense, i really want to know if you had any hanging skin that required plastic surgery? I'm so concerned about having a lot of hanging skin or needing additional surgery to fix it. My VSG is on Monday and i'm super siked!!!

thank you! And i don't take offense to ANY question..I'm an open book! Yes i have lots of hanging skin..and i do need surgery..but don't have money or insurance (because of divorce) for it. I have horrible bat wings..boobs sag bad..inner thighs are very bad..stomach isn't as bad as i thought..but still needs done..but..I would do it all again..even with the excess skin..I am 100% happier than i was before losing the weight.
