Works for me! I enjoy creative, healthy cooking, but suffer through housework. I can walk for hours and love to work out, but just looking at housework makes me tired...

I used to enjoy MorningStar Farm Original Grillers veggie burgers, but I'm off them at the moment.  They were a staple in earlier days.

Barry LOVES turkey pepperoni and green beans are my current favourite veg. I like to toss them with a little butter, minced garlic and grated Parmesan. My portion is pretty small, but it's heaven on a fork.

I've seen canned chicken and know it must be nice and moist, but have no idea of what to do with it. How do you use it?

I just heat it up a little in the microwave and enjoy it.  It's packed in broth and very moist.  Once I put some Dijon mustard next to it on my plate and dipped.  :)

Very early on I mixed it with some reduced-fat mayo.

I'll add it to my grocery list and give it a shot. I'm kinda embarrassed to admit that at 10 months out I still struggle to get more than 2 ounces of chicken or fish in. I'd love to leave shakes behind at some point, but don't see it happening anytime soon. Thanks.

I don't know why you should feel embarrassed about that.  Whatever is, is.  Looking for solutions is the way to go, and you're doing that.  :)

How does 1% cottage cheese sit with you?  When I ate that daily I used to add unflavored protein powder to it, in a proportion of maybe 1/2 scoop to 3/4 c cottage cheese.  Not the best taste, but not the worst, either.  Even adding, say, 1/4 scoop to 1/2 c of CC could help.

Cottage cheese and I are bosom friends! I add a packet of sweetener and a bunch of cinnamon to a cup of it and can (slowly) eat the whole thing. 28 grams of yummy protein! It's one of my favourite lunches. It's also very good mixed with an equal amount of sf vanilla yogurt - it has a taste and texture similar to rice pudding without the terrible nutritional profile.

One of the things I like to do with protein powder for a change is make pudding. It only works with a couple of kinds in my experience, but it's a nice treat. I use the Syntrax micellar blends (they come in strawberry, vanilla and chocolate) and mix a scoop with about 1/2 cup of milk. Stir well (it doesn't lump - a spoon is fine) and add a drained single serve container of sf fruit ****tail, diced peaches or mandarin orange segments or 1/2 a banana. 25 grams of protein, about 200 calories.
