Hoe bad am I messing up by...
I for one refuse to give up my coffee. Since about month three I have drank my coffee again. I do cut it, half caf beans and half decaf beans. With that said, I do know studies say it does not have much in the way of a diuretic effect. With that in mind, I count it towards my fluid intake and, fwiw, it did not appear to hamper my weight loss. I take two 16 oz go cups to work each day. One has my coffee with flax seed milk (higher protein, lower carb milk alt and better imho than other milk sub's). The other is the same, but I add a scoop of my favorite chocolate peanut butter protein and use it for my mid-morning snack. Get my protein and get my java junkie fix.
