Living the Mushy Dream

I may have messed up but I didn't really check if the soup was non-fat. Guess I'll have to use skim milk and hope for the best. I'm going to strain the mushrooms out, I think. Unless they're in very tiny pieces. I'll add the protein powder possibly.

I am in Maryland indeed - I live in DC and had my sleeve at Shady Grove in Gaithersburg.

at that phase, I did give myself permission to play it a little looser on the tracking for the reasons you have stated. It'll be easier to track more accurately when you increase the quantity you are eating and/or move to a more advanced diet. Just do the best you can. Fwiw, there are 48 teaspoons in a cup and 16 tablespoons. :-)

as for white fish, I am a huge fan of tilapia. Could eat it every day since it is so versatile.

Thanks, Laurie. I'm being a little looser as well - if I'm out and don't feel like doing a math exercise, I just write it down and then track on MFP as best I can when I can get to a computer. Thanks for the info about the numbers of teaspoons and tablespoons.

I love tilapia too - it's so forgiving - I can't seem to ruin it by overcooking. This week (Thursday) I'm having it baked in a foil packet with some herbs and things and a little knob of (horrors!) butter. A smidge of pureed peas to go with it. Tomorrow baked barramundi with swiss chard, Tuesday tuna salad (or tuna on salad for him), Wednesday baked cod with zucchini and tomatoes stewed up (my doc says the tomato seeds should be okay since I didn't have diverticulitis before but I'm going to ask DH to peel the zucchini).

I like your style AngloAm!  Good, real food.  Not so difficult to do and so delicious!  Enjoy.
