I actually made myself a list of WLS promises based on the frequent topics that are posted here.  "Don't panic about stalls" is #1.

I only lost 7 pounds my 2nd month... I searched the boards and there are a gazillion posts about the 2nd month stall...  I was panicking and then it started again.   Hoping the best for you

You are never going to eat as little as you eat that first month. That's just reality. And losing a pound isn't "no stupid progress". It's losing a pound. You lost about a pound over 5 days. Which is less than a week.

My entire time I would lose 1 pound one week and then a big amount the next week. I did weigh myself every day but I only counted my weigh-ins on Mondays so that's all I recorded. At first that "big amount" was 4 pounds but over time it went down to 3-4, then 2-3, then 1-2. But pretty much every other week it was always 1 pound no matter what it was the week before. I assume that was due to my cycle.

I did better when my therapist gave me a WLS program from the old Nut.  I upped my protein to 80-120 and tried to hit 100 every day.  I also upped water from 64 oz to 100+.  And my calories from 600 to 800 -1000.  Than I had a pretty steady weight loss.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
