No, I didn't.  I just took very small bites and ate it slow.

I had the same problem. I had to go get a gastroscopy to open it up. I just stuck to soups and watered them down as much as possible. The ricotta bake was so good but I couldn't eat it. Too thick. I hope this helps

Congratulations on being sleeved!  I'm not a dietician, but after my surgery, my dietician and surgeon had me on clear fluids for one week, and then 3 weeks of nothing but clear fluid and protein shakes.  After that, I could start to have some pureed food, but could only handle a teaspoon or so.  Your stomach is healing - you will know when to stop eating, whether it doesn't agree with you, or if it's too much food.  I'd suggest contacting your surgeon's office, but I would go back a step and listen to your new tummy.  Lots of good luck!  (One year post surgery, beyond goal weight, and loving my sleeve!).

I feel you should call your surgeon. My dietitian  suggested we us baby spoons after surgery. I felt it help. I did not have problems eating. Hope you feel better soon.
