Thanks so much for posting this. I'm scheduled for surgery tomorrow and am VERY nervous about it. Your story was encouraging, and your "whys' are similar to mine. I too have avoided beaches and water parks for years and I am really looking forward to having more energy to play more with my kiddos. You look great, but even greater than that is your ability to live life more fully. Thanks for sharing!
