4 Months Post Op! Before and After Pics

Thank you so much Joan!!  Well I still can't eat that much food.....my stomach is still very restricted.  Funny thing is I could have had my surgery earlier but I postponed it a month because I had a 5 day class reunion cruise to attend.  I went on my cruise July 11-16 and I had my surgery July 18th.  Because it was only a month I postponed my surgery. Here's the deal.......no matter when you have the surgery you will face and have to deal with being surrounded by lots of food.  That's one of the challenges with the surgery.....but at the same time when your new stomach is full....it's full and you will not want that uncomfortable overstuffed feeling so you will stop eating. But if you decide to have your surgery in December....just think how many pounds lighter you will be when you do go in April.  So I understand your Dilemma.  Now I like to have an occasional ****tail every now and then and I do!!!  I sip on my drink of choice out of a shot glass.  It's small and it only takes one....maybe two (if I'm really having a moment).   It it takes a while to drink that shot.  I know sleeve patients frown upon this but that's my choice and that's how I have my ****tails.  Thanksgiving is coming up next week so I will be faced with a display of 100 different food items and everybody eating around me.....but I'm use to it now so it doesn't bother me anymore.  I just graze throughout the day.  So my suggestion is have the surgery and by the time April comes around you would have had time to experience being around lots of food and also know your new stomach and how much it can take.  I hope that helps!!!

Hi Simone,

Wow, you're so right, April will come quickly and by then I should have a pretty good amount of time and good decisions under my belt!  I think my fears also stem from my worries of failing, I just want to get there!   Thanks soo much!!!
