I'm not a vet at a little over a year post-op, so White Dove is most qualified to advise you. I would only add that there's no shame at gaining some weight back. It's keeping it on that's the problem.

This is kind of an icky comparison, but when I was little, occasionally head lice made the rounds in our school. We were always told, "It's not shameful getting head lice. It's only shameful if you keep them."

Hold your head high as you lose the weight! Nothing at all to be ashamed of!

I'm sorry for the late thank you to the excellent suggestions and encouragement that I received as a result of my post.  I walked a mile yesterday and didn't eat junk - I think the fog is finally lifting - and I know I can do this !!  Thanks again everyone :)
