One year Surgiversary!!

What a difference a year makes.  One year ago I was in the operating room seeking help with my lifelong battle with obesity.  I have never been so scared and hopeful all at the same time.

Today I am down 102 pounds from my surgery date and a total of 122 pounds since entering the bariatric program.  I am not perfect.  But I have learned so much and I am truly hopeful for the first time in years.  I love that I can be a better example for my kids and for my patients.  I love the energy I have and living a more active lifestyle.  I had a wonderful 3 mile run at sunrise!!

Thanks to all on here for sharing your knowledge and support.  We are all in this journey together!!

Great job, you should be very proud of yourself! I notice you are smiling in both pre and post op pictures. Now you have Health to go along with a great demeanor.Happy for you!
