Hectic trying to scramble together many professional projects and prepare for my EGD next week.  I took two days off for the endoscopy.  Four chronic illnesses means I didn't want to gamble with it.

Meal #1: small LC ham sandwich

Meal #2: 1 cup high protein chicken soup

Meal #3: siggi yogurt

Meal #4: 6 shrimps, 1/4c mashed sweet potato.

Other: protein shake (depending on if I finish my food), 1 cheese stick, 1 small orange.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

I love curry too but if I eat it more than twice I can smell it in my skin lol.

Ugh today was super busy at work so I didn't get to post my menu. It's boring anyway.

B - Unjury chicken soup flavored protein powder - Premier Protein shakes are hurting my stomach and I can't take it anymore! I'm ok if I sip it for an hour but then its hot and that is way too long anyway. Any suggestions?

L - Chicken thigh

S - Cheese stick

D - Who knows! It's Friday night!! ...but protein forward of course.

I am not sure, but I recall that Premier shakes aren't 100% whey protein isolate, whereas Unjury is.  Whey protein isolate is easier to digest than other kinds of protein, and hydrolyzed protein is the easiest of all.  Hydrolyzed protein often has a bitterness to it, though.

I don't know about your brand shakes. But I prefer hot liquids to cold, so I used to add protein powder (mixed with cold water into a paste) in my coffee. With some Splenda and sf coffee syrup (hazelnut)

i might suggest a yeti cup with ice to keep your drink cold. I know there is a cheaper brand than yeti, but I can't remember what it is?.. Oz ark or something..?

Protein-poor day today, but fortunately no carb cravings as a result. Also stayed under 700 calories.

  1. Coffee w/cashew milk
  2. Olive Garden minestrone, glass cabernet, espresso
  3. Cup of homemade lima bean soup (it tastes better than it sounds), a pear
  4. Snack: 2 grapes

W&V: Done

E: None
