Hi I'm 41 and I had RNY in Aug of last yr, Ive been having bladder infection and yeast infection symptoms since Oct 08 all the test I had done have come back neg. and I'm at a loss does anyone else have these issues?

I am 45 (almost 46) and I had my surgery in May of 2003. I have had problems with frequent symptoms such as yours for years now. And since I'm thinking about it I've only had these problems since WLS. Of course I have no idea if they are related, but those are just the facts.

Have you seen your GYNO? It may have something to do with the changes going on as we get older and closer to perimenopause and menopause. Sometimes mine are UTI's and sometimes the symptoms come and go. I drink plenty of water, at least 128 fl oz every day so really my doctor said that some people are just more susceptible. 

If you haven't I would definitely bring this up with your GYNO.
