I'm so happy! I never realized the weight would come off this quickly. My surgery was last Tues 3/22 and I'm down 13.5 lbs, I'm 204 now. Started at 237, highest, 217.5 surgery wt. I just wish I could say I'm feeling great but I can't yet. I'm still not getting my food down very easily. Problems are due to swelling. Well, just had to share my excitement  :).

What a great feeling it is to watch the scales go down and down!   Congratulations on doing a great job!

In the beginning I remember getting on the scale each morning and saying "Really?"  It is pretty unbelievable.  Even now at 7 months, I had a 6 lb loss last month and I thought I was standing still.
Let's just home maintainance is this easy.

The swelling will go down and you will be feeling better and eating easier as time goes on.

Yeah! And Congrats, I promise it gets a lot easier. Don't stress on the food amount right now. Just make sure you drink, get liquids in! The eating will come....and the protein a long with it.
You will learn to know your sleeve inside and out!
I am the happiest I have been since high school. I feel a 100% and I enjoy life again!
I am so happy for you!

Whitney,
Congrats on your surgery, and your loss to date.
Drinking fluids helps reduce the swelling.  Keep sipping and walking.
