Hi All! I'm psyched! It's been two weeks since surgery and I'm down 14 lbs and a pant size already! Wahoo!!

The lower your weight goes - the faster those sizes drop!!

Be sure to do your measurements also so you can see your progress there.

That's great. Although I knew I was shrinking, I don't think I lost a pants size for a while. Swollen tummy in part.

Hurray for you. Don't invest in too many new clothes. You will be smaller than they are too quick to wear them.

Congrats Laurie! It is so much fun. When I started getting new clothes, I took my old ones to a consignment shop, then had $ to purchase new ones. It is fun and seems like clothes are almost "free".

The consignment route would be great, but unfortunately about a year and a half ago I lost 50 lbs and did a major purge on my closet--5 huge garbage bags of clothes. Then for work during that time I had to wear black and whites, so I don't even have my typical work wardrobe. Anyway my closet is already quite bare. Darn! I guess I'll just have to buy some clothes on the way down.

Actually me and Value Village or about to become closer friends I think!
