FINAL Preop Appointment--All Systems A Go!!!!!!!!!

9/13/11-7 days away from surgery and I had my last preop appointment with Dr. Clark. To my surprise, I started freaking out! This whole time I have been nothing but happy, positive and worry-free. Going into the office today reminded me that it is final and this is it. I just had a major moment and started freaking out.

Thankfully, the staff and Dr. Clark calmed me down and told me this was normal. They are so uplifting and they are so happy for you that it forces you to think about the reasons you want to do this to begin with. I realized that I have waited ten years for this moment and that God is with me. Sometimes you just have to do what must be done.

So now I gladly wait for my moment and thank God for such an awesome opportunity. According to the test results I am pretty healthy. So I expect the same coming out of surgery and I expect God to give me a brand new, healthy life. This is my opportunity to finally have what I could only dream of before. I will have a healthy, spirit filled long life and that is truly amazing!
