Weight Loss/Puree Week

Okay so like I said I only weigh myself every 10 days, so today is weigh in day!  I now weigh 304.8 lbs which is 6.2lbs down in 10 days.  I'm loving it!  Hopefully next week I can reach my first mini goal of getting under 300 lbs.  Yesterday I achieved the small victory of being able to fit comfortably in a pair of pants that I have recently outgrown.  I was comfortably in a size 26 pre-surgery and yesterday I got back into a pair of 24's.  I am so glad about that.  Tomorrow I go to the surgeon for my first post-op (remember, I missed my last one?).  I am concerned that the scale won't reflect the results that my scale at home shows.  That bugs me.  I mean on one hand I am considering  my home scale the "official" scale for determining my progress since that is the one I have free and clear access to, BUT on the other hand I want my results recorded at the doc's office.  Oh well I am going to just take their weight with a grain of salt.

This puree week has been slightly rough.  Not because there is so much I can't eat, because I know I can eat anything as long as I run it thru the blender first, BUT that is soo much work!   I did make some bangin BBQ chicken salad in the blender the other day, so tonite I think I will try my hand at a variation:  buffaloe BBQ chicken salad with bleu cheese dressing!!  That sounds tasty.  Chicken is really good pureed.  Its my favorite.  Only one more day of purees and then its on to soft foods.  Not quite sure what that entails besides eggs but I guess I will figure it out.

I am a little concerned that as my food choices progress, the weight loss will decline, but I think I am doing great for not really having any restriction.  I need to get on the exercise!  I don't mind doing the work as long as I am getting results.  Until next time OH...\ / <---the peace sign.
