Flipped and Filled!

Mar 12, 2010

Hi all, just thought I'd give an interim update.  I had my surgery to reflip my port back to the right position.  Really the Dr. just replaced my port.  The surgery was just as easy and painless as I was told.  There was no pain at all.  They didn't even put me under general anesthesia, just deeply sedated me.   Right before surgery my Dr. came into the room with his oh so beautiful smile (mmmm I loves my husband, but Dr. Enochs is a beautiful MAN!!!) and I asked him to give me a fill.   When they woke me up after surgery the only thing on my mind was good gawd I gotta go potty!!  They wouldn't let me out of the bed without the nurses' help but they were dragging their feet getting to until I insisted I gotta go NOW!!  Then the nurse stood in the bathroom while I went.  I was thinking, what is this? Some kinda drug testing or something?? Can a girl get a LITTLE privacy?  Anyways I went back to the recovery room and dozed for like 2 hours then they were like u must  be reaal tired (and I was).  So anyways I wasn't sure if my Dr. remembered to give me the fill like he said he would so I went home, and I tried to eat lunch like normal and I swear, after 2 bites I thought I was going to vomit.  I WANTED to vomit to get that awful feeling to go away.  It took me a good 30 minutes to get over that stuck/nausea feeling.  But I was not discouraged, I continued to eat.  Now I am stuffed.  I cannot see myself eating even one more bite of food tonite.  Could this be the restriction I've needed for the past few weeks?  I hope so.  That band will definitely show you who's boss if you step outta line.  I will make sure to monitor my portions and eat more cautiously now that I am finally filled.  Until next time....Peace.
