Feliz Navidad! 8 lbs to my GOAL!!

Dec 25, 2011

HOLA!! Feliz Navidad! Yo soy muy bien!! Yo tiengo ocho kilitos para mi objectivo!! Yo soy muy contenta!! Yo no comer mucha esta holiday.

Yay!! So basically I said Merry X-Mas, I got 8 lbs to go to my goal weight and I am happy with that and what about YOU!!?? lol

I did really really well with my eating for Christmas! This surgery is simply amazing. I didn't feel hunger the whole time I was cooking about eight hours or more, I was made to remind myself to eat,
that happens sometimes, I get really into something & then before I know it.....it's like the afternoon. But NOW I am back to working FT and I eat a lil something in the morning & luch is routine, as my break is the same time everyday, so I eat lunch for sure. I also do protein snacks, not shakes, don't like em.  I have not been hitting the gym as often as I should and I will be trying harder to go even if I am tired from work. I need to tone my arms. I know I am not eating enough if my body is super cold. I have less insulation now so I know I am going to be cold but I know the difference from being cold and just not eating enough. I am pretty good at eating my proteins first and rarely have any dessert. I would trade pie for a nice salad anyday, but often after my proteiens I just don't have the space. I do drink pop, just cant & wont give that up and I am totally fine. So I know that was all hype about the no pop thing or maybe that is just something for the RNY, not the Sleeve. Removing the hunger gland is the best thing ever and the tiny tum I have allowed me to almost reach my weight loss goal. I am only 8 lil pounds away from my goal. I am incredibly thankful to DR. Ramos Kelly, my miracle worker and saviour. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thanks to God for guiding Dr. Kellys hand in my surgery & keeping me safe. My family has been great throughout the process and my daughter now has a new perspective on just what it is like to be heavy and then to not be so heavy. She has seen my transformation and realizes the surgery comes with sacrifice and effort. It's not easy but it does get easier as
you go along, does that make sense. I am 8 months out. I feel great and am uploading some new picts to show my new look! If your contemplating the sleeve, go for it, wish I had done it years ago, in my 30's not my 40's. Oh well.

My 14th yr Anniversary is on Dec. 31st. Looking fwd to buying a nice dress to wear. We'll see.   : )

Happy Holidays. Everyone!
