Phase Two of Skin Reduction - May 16th!

I have a surgery date of May 16th for the next phase of my skin reduction...this time the posterior thigh area, and a lipoma (fatty tumor) that sits at the top of my right calf. 

I'm again considering a short stay in a rehab facility, due to the position of the  incisions, and the fact that I live alone.  I may just do what I did last time, and have a visiting nurse come in for wound dressing and such.

It's been a long, hard fight to get this skin reduction done.  Once I'm healed, it's back to school, to continue my quest to become a RD, specializing in nutrition for weight loss surgery patients. That is my new passion, and I'm going to do this, even if my hair is completely gray by the time I'm done! Whatever it takes!
