Day 5 Post-Op

Wishing the sleep fairy would come throw a handful of sleep magic at my head. I just can't seem to sleep for over two or three hours at a time. I guess when I have the urge to roll over is when I wake up and then realize.."Oh, no you ain't rolling over...girl r u crazy"....I still can only lay on my back but I did sit through a 2 hour movie tonight and even better...wait for it, wait....  I walked outside to the mailbox, walked up and down the sidewalk and I even went down my basement steps to the den and into the garage. Yes, a major accomplishment...yet so small.
The soreness is better and with each warm shower it seems to improve. I can even SIT on the commode...oh the joy in a peaceful pee....sorry, anyway..Just wanted those who are following my endeavor to know that day 5 was much better for me and I think I can see a light at the end of the tunnel and good gracious it ain't a train this time.... Now if I could figure out this "am I hungry, or am I not hungry" thing...maybe work on this a bit more tomorrow....Remember we are not all identical yet if anyone can shoot me a message on the constant knot feeling that I am having right now I would be very grateful...Feels like a knot right at my breast bone area?? Maybe just a huge gas ball...if so I feel sorry for my son and our dog !!  Well, I am off to Farmville to catchup on my harvest!! Best to you all..............Mary
