Last night I walked around the block and did very well and enjoyed the time in the cool dark night. Hopefully, I can walk another lap tonight and add a bit more onto that. Today was filled with errands and then to Walmart for supplies. I was so ready to get home and rest a bit. The soreness is still in my lower left side and I cringed with every speed bump that I hit. I had full intentions of hitting Kroger to pick up popsicles, milk, and cottage cheese....but my body told me otherwise. Just getting in and out of the car was painful, I had hoped that this would have gone away by now. From most of the people I have talked to, this is not a common thing and I plan on asking my surgeon if he nipped an artery during surgery. I do know that if they nip one and tie it off, a pain will be present for quite some time...thinking this is what it is...a sharp deep pain in my lower waist area that goes under the ribs. Other than that I feel great....trying to get in fluids and then out and about and finding myself hungry was bad. The days of McDonalds drive thru are long gone....Hope all is well with everyone and say a prayer for children in need and neglect....have a blessed day .. Mary
