Just got off the phone with Dr. Kelly and his assistant Omar, what a nice couple of men! I was shocked at how kind Dr. Kelly was and that he really took the time to ask me questions and to answer mine as well. Also this is funny but I was expecting to hear very broken english and he doesn't even have an accent LOL he asked me to get tested for h.pylori since I have a history of acid reflux and also wanted me to make sure I don't have a hernia if possible. Amazing to me because if he was just out to make a buck I don't think he would have me do this stuff.. Anyway I feel VERY comfortable choosing him as my surgeon after that phone call...Still working on figuring out how to pay for this... Ugh. Still considering taking the risk to finance and cross my fingers that I get enough back on my next tax return to pay it off.. or just bite the bullet and skimp on other things to afford it... I'm just terrified of what my weight is doing to my health and I honestly think it would be worth working overtime to be able to be healthier...it seems like just as some of my questions are answered there are new questions around the corner. It's just too bad I'm not rich... or at it would be nice if I had an extra $5k lying around LOL
