A little change to the game plan

So I was all set on signing up for PCIP insurance and using that as the method of getting my surgery, until I got some great news. I got a new job!!! I will be starting later this month, and the position I have has good insurance and I'll more than likely choose Kaiser as my health care provider. I think this will work out better because the PCIP program will be ending at the end of this year and then I don't know how I would cover future expenses and follow ups. The only issue is that I'm sure Dr. Ellner will probably not be one of the doctors covered by my insurance since she is out of town and there are doctors who are closer to me. Nonetheless I am excited for this journey to finally begin. As soon as my insurance kicks in with this job I will be speaking with my PCP to get this ball rolling.
