11/14/10 Finding after upper endoscopy: small pouch measure 3-4cm in length. Gastric Junction is abnormally large. The pouch is somewhat irregularly shaped probably as result of the anterior anastomosis. I still haven't found out what hospital portion is, still waiting so I can make a decision on what I want to do. My husband really doesn't wont me go through this. Insurance is not the same. :( I was told at Dr office I had 3 months until my approval expire but I'm looking at letter from BCBS insurance say it expire the end of this year. I was told i could get a care credit card so i called and got approve but if I don't pay it off in so many months there 29.99 interest so I don't know if I want that I have 6-18 months to pay off with 0 interest. Or i can pay half of $1915.23 to Dr office and make payment but I'm just waiting on how much hospital est. is. So things are not looking good on my part. I really wish that more people with BOB would post more but they don't so I really thinking the worst about it when they don't post. I can try to do this on my own but at my own rate it will be difficult. I manager to lose some of the weight i regain. In 2008 I was up to 247 and been battling with it until 2010. With the help with PCP and Dietitian I manage to get down to 223.5 A lost of 23.5 :) What made me come back here is that I got newsletter from OH this past summer something about a Rose procedure to help RNY patient that regain weight, loss weight again but quickly find out there wasn't any success with it and insurance doesn't cover it anyway. So I started seeing some post about lap band over bypass some had success and couple not good one, one had her remove and another getting her remove but I haven't heard much of anything from the newly BOB patient from this year.
