New hope

Surgery took a little over 2 hrs. everything was done endoscopic I had a lot of dry heaves, sore throat and nausea. Other then that pain wasn't bad because they manage it well. Was very sleepy most of the day because of general anesthesia I'm feeling extremely bless today. Dr. Seger "Overstitch" my pouch and gastrojejunal  anastomosis. Weight in at 247.2 at hospital. I feeling like my life is heading in positive direction. Diet Specialist had change my blood pressure medicine in early January and weight been going down. I had to join Myfitnesspal.com to track my eating so I feeling pretty good about everything that has happening so far. My next appointment Feb 19 with Diet Specialist and Follow-up is Feb 27. I'm on liquid diet to get my stitch time to heal inside for 2 wk. I am staying overnight should be going home tomorrow.  Still going set small goals to keep myself motivate. I really don't post on message board too much because of the negativity here.
