Final surgeon visit before surgery

So I went to see the surgeon on Thursday (5/26).   Surgeon is thrilled that I have lost 25 lbs. While looking at my chart he said my gall bladder was fine. I asked about him removing my gall bladder anyway.  He asked why.  I said I did not want to be back in 6 months having it removed since they start acting up during rapid weight loss.  He joked and said that was how he got his repeat business.  I worked in finance (at the hospital where he is performing the surgery) and I should understand the importance of repeat business!  Of course, he was only joking.  Basically,  he said he has no medically necessary reason to remove the gall bladder. He did tell me that he would put me on Actigal,  a medicine to prevent gall stones for a while so I shouldn't have any issues.  Besides,  he feels that if I was going to have issues I would have had them when I did Weight Watchers.

My weight was the same as on Friday 5/20.  But it started dropping again the day after so I am down 3 -4 lbs this week.
