Daughter's graduation Party

Jun 03, 2011

My daughter graduates from high school tomorrow.  Yesterday we had a party at a hall right next to the high school.  It ran from 4 pm - 10 pm.  I thought we over bought food, especially the hot stuff.  We had a steady stream of people the whole night.  A group of kids (and one adult) from her karate school hung out all night.  There was a large group of my relatives,  a few of my husband's relatives,  school (band) kids,  a few from church,  a larger group from my Tuesday night Bible Study (from our previous church), a couple of co-workers from husband's and my work.

Several people who were planning on coming did not show up.  It's pretty good since we had hardly any leftovers except lettuce and chips.  I think those kids from karate (mostly teenage boys) ate alot!  Anyway, how did I do?  I had one piece of chicken breast without the skin, some cashews and diet soda.  No chips, no cake, no junk!  I was on my feet all day.  I started  at 9:30 am loading and unloading the car, moving tables,  covering tables,  setting up food stations.  It ended about 10:30 draging all our stuff back out and into the house.  When I sat down at home my legs ached.

The best part of the evening is right before we left my daughter told me that she had a great time!
