Temple Community Hospital

"Before checking into the hospital, I was quite leery about it based on the other reviews I'd read here. I'm somewhat of a, ahem, "High Maintenance" kinda gal... so I was thinking this place was going to be a real dive and possibly even have sub-standard care. Still, though, I went with it based on the fact that it was the chosen hospital through the Liv-Lite program. ANYWAY... the hospital was absolutely FINE. Not luxurious by any means, but they were certainly accommodating; fed my husband 3 meals/day and let him sleep in a bed in the room with me! Couldn't beat that! The staff was incredibly nice; I felt like I truly KNEW them by the time I'd been there a bit. They were all so warm, welcoming and positive! The only low point was the hospital staff being mostly Asian; there was quite a distinctive language barrier at times. BUT they were all pleasant and tried their hardest, and with some patience on my part, we worked through those situations. All in all, I'd rate them as one of the friendliest hospitals around! I'd definitely go there again, if need be."

Jamshid Nazarian

"I was very impressed with Dr. Nazarian. He was personable, confident and seemed at ease with the whole procedure itself. (He should, I realize, but I mean that he even put ME more at ease.) He explained everything thoroughly and did answer most of my questions, but he seemed a bit hurried--more than I'd expected. Someone somewhere told me (or I read) that this would be an hour-long consultation. It wasn't. It was more like 20 minutes. I will ask the remainder of my questions when I see him again 4 days before the surgery. All in all, though, I feel very good about him as a surgeon and happy with my decision."
