Weird experience

I've started my journey on April 2014 , nervous yet excited. I do protein shakes every morning nd I drink plenty of water. I eat plenty of seafood and poultry . I walk two miles seven days a week and have only lost 8lbs. I get disgusted but I contain to push forward. I have gone down from a dress size 24 to wearing an 18 or 20 depending on the cut. Am I the only one or can someone else relate.
