I am a married 35 yr old mom of 5 children. I have been overweight most of my life. With the highest weight now of 263pds and im 5'5". I have waited 6 years to have Bariatric surgery (sleeve) and it's finally going to happen. My insurance requires 6 months of Physician controlled diet before they will finally approve my surgery. I'm only on my first week, but im hoping to learn as much as possible on this journey to make my surgery a complete success. My biggest hurdle right now is i can only loose 12 pounds in the next 6 months to qualify for surgery, :( its going to be a major ballancing act.
