I’m 3 days post op from getting sleeved. Should I be worried that all I could take in today was 20oz of liquid and half a pudding cup? The 20oz liquid contained 40grams of protein but I’m trying so hard not to be dehydrated and I’m scared. I’m

I just had my surgery on the 17th. They don’t want to send me home till I can take more liquids in. I have been walking and don’t feel like this helps with my gas discomfort in my chest. I’m having a hard time taking my liquids because it hurts.

Is it normal to be scared of what your mental state will be after surgery? My doctor scared me by saying that suicide is higher after surgery which is why they promote therapy. I will definitely be doing that but I know I’ve also been more emotional
