Hi Valarie, Glad to know your surgery went so well.Welcome to your new beginning!!My surgery's not til june 18th.That seems sooooo far away.But I believe God does things in his timing for a reason,so I'll just have to wait.Take care of yourself and do everything your doctor has told you.Good luck,Lora

Hello*!!!! thanks to everyone that has signed my surgery page*!!!! I came home yesterday and I am doing good*!!! Of course I am sore...but not bad at all....teeheehee and I thought I was a whimp...I will be updating my profile soon*!!!! (Queenie)

Val; I couldn't be happier for you, sweetie!! Welcome to the "lighter side!!" Prayers do get answered, and you are proof, you had waited so long, but now you will start to celebrate your life in a whole new way!! Just remember to walk as much as you can and drink water, follow your doctors advice and soon, very soon, you will feel more energy and stamina than you ever thought possible, and oh yes, a slimmer you too!! :) Love ya; Dorothy

Just wanted to let you all know that Val is still doing wonderful*!! She passed her "leak" test and will probably go home tomorrow morning.

Well I went to see Valerie in the hospital today and she is doing wonderful!! Alert, talking and totally with it~!! Her pain is tolerable and she is doing great. Up walking, doing those breathing treatments, coughing and making the BEST of her hospital experience~!!:) Personally, I think she is doing better than anyone I've known to have this surgery yet~!!
