thankyou for the words of encouragement, it means alot to me. It helps take away the scared feeling hearing from so many people who had been through this before. Congratulations on your surgery, and I wish you also the very best. God bless

Kathy, I am only 1 day earlier than you (June 10) and I too, am experiencing the same thing. I lost 34 lbs the first 3 weeks, and have not lost anything since. I really do think that part does happen, I have seen others post with the same problem, then wham, they lose again fast. I don't go to the bathroom much anymore either. I would call the doc if it is worrying you enough, about the BM's anyway. Good luck in the future, and to me too :)

Hi All. I'm home!! I had the choice to come home from hospital on Friday or Saturday and chose Sat. I didn't feel like I quite had my pain under control. I feel that that was a very good decision on my part. Today I feel really good. Have putzed around the house and had a normal #2. Is that normal? My doc didn't do bowel prep or anything like that prior to surgery. Have only taken pain med 2x since midnite. Will comment later about surgery and hospital stay. Need to go sit in my recliner forawhile. Thankyou for all of the prayers and well-wishes.
