"I was impressed by the "down to earth" approach that she had and the frankness. I am 58 and she said up front that I will not loose as much as someone younger. I hope to prove her wrong! The office staff was so nice and cheerful and the clinic and hospital was really nice looking. Surgical competence is more important than bedside manner to me. I am a little over an hour away and that was really thought over, but the drive is beautiful. Both she and the Internal Medicine doctor stressed risk of surgery. Surgery scheduled for November 7, 2001 and I am nervous!! I have had 2 visits after surgery. Both times I saw the PA "Julie" and got staples out both times. Everyone is so helpful. I talked with people in the waiting room that had nothing but positive remarks about Dr. Holwick and her staff. I traveled a little over an hour, but some had come 4-6 hours to have the surgery. My hospital stay was really great also with all hospital staff being really great. I have pages from diatery to follow and they called after I came home. I have a number to call for questions about eating and I am really following the information pages carefully. "
