Well, I have talked with Dr. Burnell and she talked to Dr. Her to find out how I should go about getting pre-authorization for surgery. He told her that I need to get my denial, (an exclusion guarrentees this), then I need to appeal. I have received all my medical records and am putting together an appeal. Both Dr.s I have tried to get appointments with will not even make an appointment until I have a letter from my insurance saying that they will take care of the cost. (Personally, I think that really stinks, I have a refferal to Dr. Tilquist approved by my insurance, and they still refuse to see me because of my insurance.) Needless to say, I am having to put up this fight much on my own. My previous work with attorneys is coming in handy at this time. Anyway, I am working hard to get approval and am in need of some support. If you have had any simular experiences, please let me know. Thank you!!!!
