As I anticipated.. Insurance Denied.. lack of Physician Supervised Weight Loss documentation... I am one of those people who would have never bothered the doctor for a problem that I thought was my own.. and you all know that the doctors don't exactly offer up and say.." by the way.. you seem to be obese.. let's see what we can do about it.." almost as if it were always ignored by the physicians to begin with.. Not one of my doctors in all of my exestance has ever said a thing about my weight except for when I was pregnant.. and only because I was loosing weight.. other than that.. they have never said a word.. okay.. so i am frustrated... I am sorry.. I rant... So, for the first time in my life.. I have an appointment with my PCP to discuss weight loss options.. but, you know.. frankly.. I have personally tried everything already.. and even so.. nothing will get me to ideal weight except WLS.. That is what I want, that is what I need.. My back pain is almost unbearable... I know that Dr. JOnes could get approval.. but, my denial included consultation.. geeesh... what to do next.. I am sorry.. don't mean to bring every one down... Thanks for listening....

Angela, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. As you know, our profiles provide a lifeline to others embarking on this journey. You never know who you might inspire!

Angela, I just wanted to say 'Good Luck' in your journey. Dr. Jones will also be my surgeon (surgery date: June 7, 2002). She wants to do my RNY laproscpically. I'm really excited. You'll have to let me know how it goes. Good luck and best wishes!!!
