Lori, You are doing so good. Sometimes i am so ashamed of myself because im suppose to be your support but u are actually mine right now. I guess that is what angels are for huh!!! Well keep up the good work girl. You are doing and looking awsome. I was looking at your before picture and there is such a diffence. If u ever get to thinking u are not doing so hot ,take a look back. We are reaching for the stars and they are ours. we dont have to ask someone to get them for us,we can reach them ourselves now. We are actually GREAT Losers!!! HAHaHAHA Love ya Sis Lori

Hi! everyone I wanted to post, I know I haven't done a very good job posting as I have progressed but hopefully I can change that. Anyway I am 4 months out and have lost 66lbs. I feel so good, better than I have in many years. My "new" life is great. My confidence has grown so much it surprises me sometimes!!!!! I walk daily 2 miles and keep busy the rest of the time. This surgery has given me my life back. Instead of watching from the sidelines I am actually participating in life!! Thank you Lord!!!! I have also hit a few goals already. This summer I went to an amusement park and actually got to ride all rides. The bar clicked over me !!! Praise God!!!! I would love to help anyone who has questions about this surgery. It was a blessing from God for me. Well gotta go for now but I will try to update more often now. Lori

APRIL 27,2003 HI ALL I AM BACK. I HAVE HAD MY SURGERY THIS PAST WEDNESDAY APRIL 23 AND GOT OUT OF HOSPITAL ON FRIDAY EVENING THE 25TH. I AM HAVING REAL EMOTIONAL TIMES ESPECIALLY TODAY. I HAVE LOST 6LBS. SO FAR, HAVEN'T TOOK A BLOOD PRESSURE PILL SINCE THE MORNING OF MY SURGERY AND NOW WORRIED ABOUT MY BLOOD SUGAR BEING TOO LOW I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE THAT PROBLEM LOL. I WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO THANK ALL OF MY FRIENDS HERE AT OBESITY HELP.COM YOU ALL ARE WONDERFUL YOU HELPED ME IN MANY WAYS, I WANT TO NAME A FEW THOUGH, MY ANGELS WERE WONDERFUL LORI AND SHERRY WHERE THERE WITH ME EACH STEP OF THE WAY I COULD NEVER REPAY YOU BOTH FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND LOVE YOU HAVE GIVEN ME, ALSO JULIE I REALLY APPRECIATED THE PHONE CALL AT THE HOSPITAL IT WAS SUCH AN ENCOURAGEMENT TO KNOW PEOPLE REALLY DO CARE !!!!! BUT MOST OF ALL I WANT TO GIVE GOD ALL THE GLORY THAT HE HAS DONE SO FAR AND CONTINUES TO DO IN MY LIFE. MANY PRAYERS WHERE LIFTED FOR ME AND I BELIEVE WITH ALL MY HEART, THAT THAT LIFTED ME UP AND TOUCHED MY SURGEONS HANDS AND GUIDED THEM AS THE SURGERY WAS PERFORMED. I COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT MY LORD. THIS IS SUCH A MIRACLE THAT YES I AM HAVING EMOTIONAL TIMES,BUT THEY ARE REJOICING IN THE THINGS GOD HAS DONE AND CONTINUES TO DO. I JUST WANT TO BE AN ENCOURAGEMENT FOR ANYONE ELSE GOING THROUGH THIS. THIS IS AN JOURNEY INDEED. WELL I AM GOING TO GO FOR NOW, STILL GET A LITTLE TIRED BUT I AM NOT COMPLAINING!!!!!! AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU WHERE EVER YOU MAY BE IN YOUR JOURNEY. LORI

Lori Girl.. Your the most awsome person i know. You were doing so good today. It was such a blessing to me to meet your family and be made to feel like one of you guys. Your family is great and you have a great support system. The nurse that are taking care of you are great too. You are so blessed that the lord worked it out to where u had your surgery there. God is so good and needs to be praised everyday for everything he has done for u. Love you sis Lori Wirey
