The Barix Clinics and Staff are awesome. They accomodate the larger patients very well, it's fully geared for larger people. It doesn't matter if you are 100 lbs overweight or 800 lbs overweight they can take care of you there.
Dr. Stalmack was great, quick little guy. The surgery went very fast, in fact my fiancee thought something was wrong as the doctor was out in the waiting room so fast. But there was nothing wrong it was just the surgery was over.
He informed me of everything that was going to happen, tried to scare me and make sure I was ready.

"The entire building is set up for overweight people right down to the chairs in the waiting rooms. The wheelchairs are made for large people, everything. You don't have to worry about anything fitting you, if you're 100 pounds overweight or 800 pounds overweight they can accomodate you. The staff is made up of former patients, and well educated nurses and doctors. I would never choose anything but the best when it comes to health care and it is well worth it to me."
"Dr. Pondillo is a very soft spoken person that is very soothing to listen to. He is also very attentive and listens to what you are saying about life in general. He seems to be quite the work-aholic. I would suggest talking with him to anyone out there."
"Dr. Youssef is a very pleasant person to work with on occassion. He is very busy and it shows alot of the time, however; when it comes to something serious ie. WLS he was very attentive and tried to make sure that I understood all of the risks involved with the surgery. He is easy to talk to and not afraid to give his honest opinion. "
