Rebecca, I, too, am a military dependent stationed in Fairbanks, AK. My surgery date is May 30th. I wish you the best of luck and hope you take the spirit and determination of your mother's experience with you. Somehow I have the feeling that she started this all those years ago, just to lead you to this very spot now. You will be in my prayers and thoughts.

GOOD LUCK to you Rebecca on your up coming surgery. I see we have the same date. Mine will be at Merit Care in Fargo with Dr Howell. I don't know what time it will be yet tho. I will be thinking of you that day and will pray for you (us). HUGS Patricia
