Just updating since I have not been able to for a while my angel has been doing that for me. I am now 4 weeks post opt I have lost 30 lbs and doing much better. I just had a lot of problem since week two with being dizzy. The doctor prescribed a medicine that was for motion sickness but it made me ill. So the veridict was time the anesthetic has done a number on me even after all this time. I am now eating soft foods cheese, refried beans taking my time with these foods - figured out eating fast is quite painful. I just wanted to thank my angel for helping me out so much. And all of the prayers the day before surgery made me go into surgery feeling at peace. hope to post again after some more weight loss.

Angel report: Charlotte is doing wonderfully. She drove 4 blocks yesterday, 4 days postop! She is starting to have that " I hope this gets better..what have I done?" syndrome but we all know that is normal (at least postops know this). She bought some frozen yogurt at TCBY and it was full of metal fragments! She ate a little of it but gave most of it to her six year old because it was too sweet..her little girl spit out a dime size piece of metal from the yogurt! Needless to say one can imagine what this could have done to the pouch had Charlotte swallowed some...ewww. They called TCBY and the store said that there had been several incidents and that they were addressing the problem...man oh man. But anyway Charlotte is trudging forward and feeling better every day.

Charlotte came home today! She is feeling okay but the gas is worse today, settling in her shoulder. Any tips for her? She is very thankful to be home and on the road to recovery. Thank you, God

I took Charlotte for a walk today and she is doing great. She does have a lot of gas from the lap surgery but I told her that walking was the best remedy. Does anyone else have any tips for her regarding the gas pressure? Also, Dr.Stickler only would give her liquid Lortab and it is so sweet that it is making her sick. But she is making progress and that is wonderful. She may get to come home tomorrow!
