Dana, good luck on your upcoming surgery. Dr Mitchell was also my surgeon if I wasn't already married I would marry him. He is wonderful, I saw him today this was a follow up on my tummy tuck. I had my open RNY on 4-12-01 and I have lost 128 pds he literally saved my life and I owe him so much. I will say it again he is a wonderful surgeon he knows what he is doing you will be in good hands. God Bless

Best wishes on your surgery. It is the beginning of your new life. I personally believe that it s a life saving procedure, I KNOW it saved mine and my husbands too. Dana, I am wishing you a successful, complication-free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my Open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having done it several years sooner. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your healthy new life.
