Well...I was released from the hospital on Thursday morning around noon so this makes today my "officially home over 24 hours mark"....LOL. I am feeling great. My hubby myself and my sweet daughters went to Wal_Mart and the grocery store tonight. I walked and pushed the cart. Hubby loaded and un-loaded all the bags and my 11 year old daughter put everything away for me. I got "ANCY" today earlier and walked over to my neighbors house and visited with her and all 7 of her 8 week old German Sheppard puppies. I even got down in the floor to let them all "love" me....they are so cute. I know i may be pushing myself a bit fast but i feel ok...If i get tired i take a nap. If i need pain meds..I take them. I walked for 5 - 20 minutes every few hours in the hospital. Just the moving around made me feel good. I know many people have different levels of pain they can handle. There are different types of pain and some people are just not able to put up with as much as others but PLEASE...get up and walk in the hospital as soon as you can and KEEP moving!!! Don't think I have no pain... I do but it is much better than i expected. THe worst part for me is getting in or out of a flat bed...AAAAAHHHHHHHHH.....It takes me several potty-mouth words and about 10 minutes to get in a position that I am able to lift myself out of truly exceptional postions...LOL. I woke up the other night with a charlie-horse in my leg and I just about woke my neighbors @ 4am with all the hollering...LOL. My mind must have forgotten about my surgery and said "GET UP!!!" so I attempted to get up to deal with the charlie horse and then my belly reminded me....OOOOOOOOOH....Not fun. To all of the pre-ops and post-ops i wish you well and I am praying for you daily. ((((((hugs to ALL of us!!))))) We are true BRAVE and we will take over the world if we are ever given the chance!!! I care about all of you and thank you all for being there giving support to everyone who needs it. I am one of the lucky ones who has TOTAL support from ALL of my family memebers and friends. THere may be someone out there who has little support and your caring and sharing make all the difference in the world to them. If i can help answer questions or be a shoulder to anyone who needs it...please email me. If you live in the Northern Virginia area i would be happy to be an angel for someone...even if i dont live near you and you dont mind a far-away angel...thats cool too.

Helloooooo.....Guess Who???....LOL..ITs me!!. And I am feeling SPLENDID. I had surgery on Monday the 30th of April and came home this morning. I had no complications and fell pretty good depite the fact that I have about 26 staples holding me together. All the nurses and the surgeon said i was amazing. I just kept getting up and running the halls and i think it made a world of difference. On the way home we stopped at Wal-Mart to get my prescriptions filled. I really am surprized at the way I am dealing with my pain. I need to remind myself that I am not ready to take on the world JUST YET....lol. That i do need to heal. I wanted to thank EVERYONE who sent me prayers and well wishes. I really feel the power of prayer helped me tremedously. Thank you everyone who gave me advice and helpful hints. I am sure i will be asking more questions now....LOL ((((HUGS))))
