"I had really done a lot of homework before going to my first appointment with Dr. B-C. I have also spoken to two of my co-workers who have had the surgery, and they have been WONDERFUL in answering any questions I have had. Dr. B-C was very professional and upfront about the pros adn cons of this procedure and stressed the importance of post-op care. I asked about the death rate which is 1/700 at the BTC in Ypsalanti and most deaths are due to patients not following post-op instructions and a lot of other medical concerns besides the obesity. He seems to have a great reputation as an excellent surgeon which is what I am most concerned about. I am excited and nervous about the procedure but am giving it a go! Overall 8 out of 10 rating, with surgical competence being the most important factor!"
