I'm now 2 weeks post-op and feeling great! I still have some minor soreness on my left side, but other than that, I'm good. I've lost 15 lbs. since the surgery, and my energy level is returning. I've had no problems with eating so far, and with any luck, that will continue! I truly feel that this was the best decision I could have made for myself, although that wasn't an immediate thought right after the surgery!! I'm already anxious to go back to work, but I know I'll feel different about that once I get there! I feel blessed that everything has gone so well so far, and I pray that it continues this way!

Hello all! I'm home from the hospital today. Other than the pain, there's been no problems. I've been able to keep liquids and my meds down, so that has been a good thing. Thanks to all who wished me well! Trish

Hi all!, A quick note to let everyone know that Trish came through her Lap. Surgery today with flying colors! She has pain in her back and is very groggy but overall seems to be in good spirits. She did manage to tell me that she had "NO REGRETS!" before falling back to sleep. I'll update as week goes by.
