Thank you all for your lovely emails and comments. I am home from the hospital now and doing pretty well. The pain is tolerable - as long as I take the painkillers LOL - and I'm able to get around pretty well on my own. I just can't believe that this worked!! I haven't been hungry at all yet. It's such a strange feeling to not want food, but I know that many of you understand that.
I'm going to rest now, I'm still very tired and can't stay awake for too long. Thank you all again, especially to AVA LEE, my wonderful angel.

Hi all! Terry is doing just great! She walks 3 laps around the floor now and is able to get up and out of bed by herself. She had apple juice yesterday and is looking forward to Jello today. Everything looks good for a Friday discharge. She says she is not even the slightest bit hungry and even the smell of the food around her doesn't impact her at all. She's definitely in the right frame of mind for success! Thanks again to all for your support and warm wishes. You're a big part of the reason for her success so far! - Craig Mayers (Terry's husband)

Hi all! Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers. Terry is doing fine, she is sleeping on and off. Her surgery went very quickly and she was also out of recovery pretty fast too. She is at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY in room W419 (bed 1 if you call). I'll be posting more updates over the next few days. Terry wanted to make sure I thank all the kind folks who sent warm wishes and healing thoughts. She should be back online Friday to share her experience with you. Thanks again, Craig Mayers (The "Dear Hubby")

Everyone gets an angel . . . you can't always see them, because sometimes, they are invisible. sometimes they are your pet when he kisses you . . . sometimes they are a small treasure you find . . . an angel might even be your friend. those angels are quiet, but what they are really saying is: "pink clouds! a good day is just around the corner." so if you begin to worry too much, just remember . . . somewhere an angel is looking out for you, too.
