Congratulations on your date!!! and Thank you for your kind words of encouragement..I am just having a case of the nerves..I'll get over it!!I have waited too long for this surgery to let my nerves get the better of me. Hope you will have a safe and speedy journey to the other side.

Hello Lynn~“Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.” William Jennings Bryan. I am wishing you all the best for the next chapter of the rest of your life.

Lynn, My 13 year old daughter brought home a saying she saw at school that I loved and immideately thought of it when I read your post last night (just now catching up from last evening)so I wanted to share with you and anyone else who is worried right now about an upcomming surgery or even the possibility of surgery. "Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles, it empties today of its strength." I think that applies to all of us at one time or another. I hope you find some of the peace you need at this time. Trust in yourself, and in God and all will be well. Tami

Hello Lynn~~~This waiting game is the hardest part of WLS. I had to wait from February until August. Partly because I let depression get in my way so I put off my psych eval. Still working on that one with my therapist! LOL! I wish you all the best and I pray that the approval comes quickly. If I can make it through that waiting game after praying for 46 years for an answer to my obesity so can you my friend. I feel for you, I really do. God is good, He does hear us. PEACE

Hi Lynn. I read your post tonight and first of all, come on over we have plenty of room! Second, the things you are feeling are so normal! We all feel the same way. We are happy for all of our AMOS brothers and sisters, but we will be happier when they are happy for us!! Your turn will come. Remember you are never alone in this. There are 90,000 people on your side, watching your every move. Always there, lerking in the background! NOW, don't you feel better?! Seriously, sis...anytime you need us, send up a S.O.S. we're all in the same boat, and what a substantial boat it is! Love Ya!

Lynn, know that you're time will come. Don't ever give up the fight, keep visiting the message board so that all the AMOS friends can travel this bumpy road with you. Sometimes just knowing someone cares makes the journey easier.
