Dear Kimmberli...I'm so glad that you did so very well and that you're home already. What a suprise when I tried to call you and someone else was already in your bed and room...lol. I tried calling at least 4 times on Sunday and your line was busy each time, but I wanted you to know that I thought of you and did try to call. Kimmerberli...welcome to the otherside!! I am glad you are embarking on your journey in good spirits and with a successful surgery. That team of ours sure is a good one! I met your husband at support group and told him to send you my love and prayers, but I wasn't sure you would know it was me. I couldn't visit because you were in ICU at the time. UPDATE~ I'm home!!!! I made it home on Monday, the 10th at 3PM. I just wanted to send a special thanks to Jane Bird and Shirley Goodyear for taking such excellent care of me and my needs!! I couldn't have done this without them! I am feeling stronger each day and am ready to conquer the world. Food is slow but sure, and I am confident that I will be able to tolerate most of the nutritionist's requirements. Also, I just thought I'd mention that I'm already down....11 POUNDS!!! Hee hee!! Thanks to all for your support, and I'll post an update of my story in my profile soon. Take care!

^j^ Jane Bird and I just came from visiting Kim...she is still in ICU, but is now waiting for an available bed...she looks great. Her Husband is one of those doting Husbands, was...very sweet. She sends her love and thanks you for your kind messages...Dr. told her looks like Monday is earliest for release.^j^

Kimmberli!! I prayed you right through that surgery, you were on my mind all morning, honey :) God is good and He brought you through it and He will see you through the rest of your recovery. Take it slow, walk a bit, use tha spirometer faithfully and know that we are still praying for you. Welcome to your new journey on the Winning side of life. Godspeed... Carol/IL

^j^ ^j^ Kim's Husband Moe just called...said she is now out of Surgery...it took 3 1/2 hours. She is still in recovery...her oxegen level are not where they should be right now. Will soon be transfered to ICU when they go up alittle more. She did well and her surgery a success!!! Keep her in your prayers. I will print her messages in 2 Hours so post away!!! So proud of my little Kim...she made it!!! ^j^ ^j^
