I went to my 1st post op appt today....got jp tube taken out. Also I am down 18 lbs....Yipeee for me. I am so excited. Still on liquids for another week but no biggie I still am not really hungry. Thanks to everyone for all of your support and Good Luck to those about to have surgery. I Love this group of people.

Well I am home.....thank you LORD!!!!! I had no problems at the hospital...everything went really well. I was lucky. Thanks to everyone who gave me their well wishes. And to my wonderful hubby who has been the best through this and for the wonderful peach roses while I was in the hospital. Ready to take on the losing side now. Samantha

Samantha, sending lots of warm wishes and prayers your way for an uneventful surgery, a speedy recovery, and lots of weight loss! {{{Hugs}}} I'm 9 months out, almost 100 lbs. down, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Just remember, WATER, WATER, WATER, PROTEIN, PROTEIN, PROTEIN, WALK, WALK, WALK...... it really works!

Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
